This was probably TL’s best scene in the saga, which is why I wish his idiot agent would stop trying to get him into action movies. Okay, yes. He’s got muscles. It doesn’t matter; his talent is in being the fun, laid-back friend. (Which I assume is one of the big reasons he was cast in the first movie.) Forget stuff like Abduction; the kid should be in romantic comedies. He really needs to get better management.

Oddly, I must agree with you on that. :/ At least as carefree, laid-back best friend, I don’t have to extract my claws each time a co-star bats an eyelash at him. While I actually liked him in Abduction *ducks* I didn’t like how he had to play hero to the [annoying] damsel in distress, Collins’ character, who is so far removed from the perfect action star’s heroine sidekick that I wanted to cry. That being said, I really want to see him do a family film, or a comedy, but particularly the latter. Him saying he’s not of the comedic persuasion is like peanut butter saying it’s better off without jam. The man has perfect comedic timing, and he needs to utilise it. And I agree too with his lack of management input. Thor Bradwell [Tay’s agent] is at best an occasional eye roll, not very helpful and certainly questionable. He literally freaks me out each time I lay eyes on the man. :/

Who the fuck told him he isn’t of the comedic persuasion? You’re right, he has excellent comedic timing, and any role he has that doesn’t make use of it isn’t a role he should have taken. Idiots. Gah.
